Welcoming, spacious, cozy
Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by a lovely owner who made sure our stay was inviting from the start. The spacious King Room was extremely comfortable, featuring a massive super king bed and a modern wet room that provided absolute convenience. Breakfast was a delightful spread, featuring a full English that hit the spot perfectly after a restful night.

Breakfast features a good full English with choice of cereals, fruit juice, and toast, offering enough variety to satisfy different tastes. The location provides easy access to walks in the Quantocks, enhancing the overall experience.
The room cleanliness leaves much to be desired. there was dust in several places, mould in the shower, and a clearly uncleaned tea/coffee holder. The shower temperature fluctuated wildly, making for an unpleasant experience, and the bed didn’t offer much comfort with a mattress that felt too small.

Pet-friendly environment is a definite plus.
Our check-in experience was chaotic, leading us to search for our own room. The atmosphere felt unkempt, with issues like a leaking shower head and broken toilet seat that went unaddressed until we checked out. Breakfast was especially disappointing, with limited choices and poorly maintained dining areas.

Fantastic staff who were friendly and very accommodating, even letting us check in early without the extra charge. The room was quiet and comfortable, featuring a massive bed and modern wet room. Breakfast had a few highlights, but the cooked options left something to be desired, particularly the overcooked bacon and crispy hash browns.

Spacious and Comfortable Stay with Great Food
I really enjoyed my stay in the spacious king room that had a super-king sized bed and modern bathroom amenities. The breakfast was delicious, and I particularly loved the nicely prepared venison steak for dinner. The only thing I’d suggest improving is having a better temperature control in the room, as it felt a bit chilly at times.
